I came to pilates after reaching a bit of a burn out with high intensity exercise. I realised HIIT style training left me knackered and ravenous and kept me on a cycle of exercising and crashing. Pilates was a serious challenge at a slower pace. The results came with less hours working out and I was sold.
 
I’ve been teaching now for around 2.5 years. Beginning with my dynamic reformer training with Reform Fitness and then moving onto my mat training with BASI. I’ve taught in New Zealand and London and have come back to Mount Maunganui after covid changed my OE plans.
 
My classes are centered around the fundamental principles of pilates while spicing things up with more modern and creative flows of movement. I want you to leave feeling taller than you arrived and with shaky legs as you walk down the stairs.
